Water Alliance
The representatives of the waterworks have recognized that it is important that they work together across Europe for protection of water bodies. For this purpose, they have together formed the Aktionsbündnis Wasser or Alliance for Action on Water to speak with a united voice on current issues, such as the protection of water bodies and security of water supplies. Associations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands are members of this Alliance for Action on Water.
The IAWR branch in Cologne has represents and coordinates the "Water Alliance".
